⚔️ Doombringer Class Update – Skill Changes and Improvements

This update introduces major improvements and balance adjustments to the Doombringer class, including new combat mechanics, skill upgrades, and reworked buffs.

Below are the detailed changes.


1️⃣ New Combat Mechanics Added to Doombringer

New mechanics were added to increase the class's damage potential.

New effects include:

  • Additional damage against shielded targets

  • Extra damage applied to targets affected by damage limit mechanics

  • Additional damage scaling based on control power

Related Skills

  • Jin / Force – Soul Smash

  • Soul Impact

  • Overwelling Power

  • Overwelling Power: Master

These abilities now deal additional damage to enemy shields and gain extra damage scaling depending on control effects.


2️⃣ Improvement to the Skill “Shine/Shadow Soul Finding”

The skill Shine/Shadow Soul Finding has been renamed to:

Shine/Shadow Soul Affinity

Changes:

  • Converted into a buff skill

  • Delos requirement removed

New Effect

While the buff is active:

  • Attacking increases the chance of activating Soul Absorption by 15%

This change applies to both:

  • Doombringer

  • Soul Hound


3️⃣ Improvements to the Skill “Shine/Shadow Side”

The skill Shine/Shadow Side has been renamed to:

Shine/Shadow Transform

A new effect was added:

When transformed, Soul Smash and Soul Impact gain additional shield damage.

Shine Transform Lv1

  • Attack Power +300

  • Attack Speed +80

  • Movement Speed +15

  • Defense +5%

  • Magic Resistance +5%

When using Soul Smash or Soul Impact, there is a 50% chance to trigger an additional hit.

Shine Transform Lv2

  • Attack Power +800

  • Attack Speed +200

  • Movement Speed +20

  • Defense +10%

  • Magic Resistance +10%

  • All Critical Damage +200

  • All Skill Critical Chance -3%

  • All Skill Critical Damage -3%

  • Max HP +10% (immediately restored)

  • HP Recovery: 40 every 0.67 seconds

  • MP Recovery: 2 every 0.67 seconds

Also includes:

  • 50% chance for additional hit with Soul Smash and Soul Impact

True Skill Enhancement

Soul Smash / Soul Impact

  • +30% additional shield damage

Shadow Transform Lv1

  • Attack Power +300

  • Attack Speed +80

  • Movement Speed +15

  • All Skill Power +1%

  • Ancient Sword Damage +2%

  • Soul Smash

  • Soul Impact

  • Attack Power +800

5️⃣ Changes to Doombringer Attack Skills

Soul Smash

  • Maximum skill level increased from 15 → 23

  • Adena used for Lv8–Lv15 upgrades will be refunded to Personal Storage

Adena is now consumed when upgrading up to Lv19.

Lv1 – Lv15

  • Range: 250

  • Hits: 1

  • Ignores Shield Defense

  • Ignores Defense 10%

Lv16 – Lv23

  • Range: 250

  • Hits: 2

  • Ignores Shield Defense

  • Ignores Defense 15%

True Skill

  • +30% shield damage

Force / Force: Master

  • +50% shield damage

  • Increased power

Soul Impact

  • Maximum skill level increased from 12 → 20

  • Adena spent on Lv6–Lv12 upgrades will be refunded

  • Adena now required until Lv16

At Lv13:

  • Advanced Magic Book allows enchantment

Other changes:

  • Cooldown adjusted to 7 seconds

  • Power increases with level

Lv1 – Lv12

  • Range: 250

  • Hits: 1

  • Ignore Shield / Defense 10%

Lv13 – Lv20

  • Range: 250

  • Hits: 2

  • Ignore Shield / Defense 15%

Enchantment Effects

  • Increased power

  • Increased defense ignore rate

  • Reduced casting time

  • Reduced cooldown

Enuma Elish

Maximum level increased to 11

Changes

  • Increased power per level

  • Casting time reduced 1.92 → 1.5 seconds

  • Range increased 40 → 250

  • +15% defense ignore

Soul Weapon Enhancement

When Soul Weapon buff is active:

Enuma Elish → Soul Enuma Elish

Enhancements:

  • Increased power

  • Hits: 1 → 2

  • More targets

  • Higher defense ignore rate

  • Added shock resistance reduction debuff

Rush: Enhanced

Renamed to:

Soul Rush

Added power scaling by skill level.

Rush Impact

Maximum level increased 6 → 10

New requirements:

  • Consumes 1 Magic Stone

Changes

  • Increased stun chance

  • Cooldown reduced to 3 seconds

PvP Effect

  • Added casting interruption

Other Changes

HP absorption removed and replaced with:

  • MP absorption

  • MP self-consumption on hit

Enhanced Version

Soul Rush Impact

  • Increased power

  • Increased defense ignore

  • More targets

  • Reduced minimum travel distance

  • Reduced MP penalty

Soul Sign

Maximum level increased to 10

Changes

  • Single target → Area attack

  • Range increased 150 → 400

  • Defense ignore 10% → 15%

PvP Debuff

  • MP absorption -95% → -30%

  • All skill power -10%

  • 3 Magic Stones

Enhanced version gains power scaling by level.

Soul Prison (New Skill)

New pulling control skill.

Requires Rare Magic Book.

  • Range: 700

  • Cooldown: 1 minute

PvP

  • Pulls a single target

  • Movement speed fixed at 100

  • Charge skills disabled

  • Duration: 5 seconds

PvE

  • Pulls up to 6 targets

  • Hits twice

Force Skill

  • Increased power

  • Increased pull chance

  • Movement speed fixed 100 → 30

  • Healing received -75%

  • Increased PvE targets

Force: Master

  • Increased power

  • Higher pull probability

  • Movement speed fixed 100 → 30

  • Healing received -100%

  • More PvE targets

  • Added buff blocking effect

6️⃣ Changes to Doombringer Buff Skills

  • Attack Power +30% → +35%

  • Max HP increase and recovery +10% → +20%

  • Added Shock Hit +20%

  • Additional damage equal to 30% of control power

Now:

  • 2% chance to activate when attacking

  • Debuff / Mez Resistance +30%

Cooldown reduced:

5 min → 2m 30s

1 min → 30 sec

7️⃣ Passive Skill Changes

Soul Ability

Renamed from Shock Impact

Changes:

  • Higher stun chance when using Soul Impact

  • Increased defense and mez hit effects

Ancient Sword Mastery

Level cap increased 10 → 15

Changes:

  • Increased physical hit effects

  • Increased attack power

  • Attack range effect moved to Dignity of Kamael

Heavy Armor Mastery

Level cap increased 10 → 15

Each level now increases:

  • Max HP

  • Defense

  • Magic Resistance

Death Payne

Changes:

  • Increased attack performance

  • Debuff duration set to 8 seconds

  • Removed ancient sword resistance reduction

8️⃣ Removed Skills

The following skills were removed:

  • Arc Soul Smash Mastery

  • Light Armor Mastery

  • Currage

Refunds:

  • Magic Tablet returned to Personal Storage

  • Adena refunded to Personal Storage

9️⃣ Weapon Requirement Changes

Weapon requirement updated:

Ancient Sword & Two-Handed Sword→ Ancient Sword only

🔟 Assassin Suppression Skill Adjustment

Skill that can be sealed changed:

Rush Impact → Soul Sign

1️⃣1️⃣ Interaction with Silien Saint

The following buffs will no longer be removed by Dark Ruin:

  • Overwelling Force

  • Overwelling Force: Master

1️⃣2️⃣ Soul Guard Adjustment

Soul Guard can no longer be removed by the Ultimate Dispel effect.
