Korean Lineage 2 Essence Updates in April 2026 – 50v50 Sieges, Archer Rework, and Transfers

Today, Korean developers Lineage 2 Essence presented details of upcoming updates, which will be released in April 2026.

The update will partially rework the leveling locations, making character development more comfortable and varied.

Also planned for April is the launch of character transfers, allowing players to more freely choose a server for future play.

One of the key innovations will be a revamped siege system with a 50-on-50 random team matchmaking format. This mechanism will make participation accessible to all players.

Significant changes will also affect archer classes. They will be reworked, including classes like Hawk, FR, and Syrok. The developers also announced that an update to the Arbalest is expected in May.

In addition to the game content, signature merchandise was announced, merging the world of Lineage with reality. It will include the "Katana of Immortality," imbued with the power of the samurai Crow, as well as a premium holographic figurine of the assassin.
